Wow! Nice large open space full of Korean style BBQ tables when you walk in. The place is decorated with all types of Korean street signs. The place gets busy fast on Saturday. Many staff working like a well oiled machine. They cook for you. Surprisingly your shirt is not smelling like food as much as other BBQ places. I think it is helpful to cook without burning the food. The service was awesome. Always have someone helping. The meat is fresh and tasty. I guess the most popular dish is the pork belly since I have seen many people ordered that. Other places I had port belly were sliced paper thin. Plenty of parking since it is at the mall. Apparently this is a very popular chain. Most of my friends went to this place over the weekend. Little distanced from my house but I wouldn't mind come over once in a while.

I went to Baekjeong with two friends on a Sunday night - there were a lot of people there for next day being Monday...I wonder if this is the norm here. We ordered a small combo for $72 and my friend ordered the hot tofu soup. We were initially going for the large combo, but the server warned that it would be a lot of food so we ordered the small instead. The hot tofu soup was also really big so we ended up sharing that too, and the small combo was just the right amount for the three of us. The combo consisted of beef and pork pieces and they were all very good. Kimchi was good! Despite the good parts, I have two minor gripes about the restaurant: 1. Rice portion was smaller than any other restaurants I've been to. Combo comes with individual bowl of rice for all of us. I'm used to the bowl being packed to the top, but it was filled up to 70-75% here. I ended up ordering another bowl of rice. 2. Banchan was decent but I wish there are more variety - maybe some grilled fish or pumpkin salad action. Regardless, I was quite excited about banchan as usual, especially when I was hungry and waiting for the main dish. I was a little surprised how my friends casually dismissed them.

This place was packed on Valentine's Day and we were luckily able to snag a same day reservation at 8:30pm. I have been to kbbq before, but it was my first time seeing egg and corn mixed with cheese around the ring of the BBQ pit! The egg is mixed with a bit of shellfish and has a nice salty taste to it. I didn't try the corn mixed with cheese though since I'm not a big fan of melted cheese. We ordered the meat combo that is on the first page of the menu when you scan the QR code. It came with 3 uncooked meats, 2 pre cooked meats and a choice of a small bowl of soybean stew with beef or kimchi stew. They also come with complimentary bowls of rice (we received 3 since there were 3 of us). I loved all the uncooked meats: they were tender and juicy. I tried a bit of the 2 cooked meats (bulgogi and the other dish looked like marinated bacon) and both were too sweet to my liking. Although the two cooked meats were disappointing, everything else was delicious including the complimentary bowls of rice! Customer service was also excellent here, we were always checked up on and we also received refills on the banchan. They also offer assistance in cooking the meat so you don't have to do it and just enjoy the meal! The interior of the restaurant is also huge! Tons of seating, but every table was packed. There is a free parking lot right outside.

Great service, you can make a resy online and comparable to the Bay Area location in terms of meat quality and portions. I still think the LA location is the best but can't not like Baekjeong in general. Parking is awful here. Took us almost 20 min to find a spot since it's located in the mall. They also let you take to go if you can't finish your food! Will be back if I'm feeling kbbq.

From the moment we arrived, our friendly server welcomed us and walked us to our table, since we are dining in with a group group we did make a reservation ahead of time just in case and the staff provided prompt assistance throughout the meal. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the beef quality. Each cut was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, making the grilling process a true pleasure. The restaurant's atmosphere, filled with the sizzle of the grill and the chatter of other customers makes our dining experience very enjoyable. We ordered: 2 LARGE Hodong favorite combos 2 seafood pancake- very crunchy good appetizer. 2 japchae- it was a bit too oily for my liking. 1 lunch box - was very surprised to see that they offered this on their menu! Soju shot cups were cold which was a nice attention to details! The Boneless Short Rib was a crowd favorite we had to put in extra order for this cut- was very tender and juicy such a good cut of beef. Overall, we had a great time at Baekjeong, and it's a place I would happily recommend to anyone looking for a Korean BBQ spot to try. My experience at this location was pretty on par with what I had experienced in LA. The combination of great service, delicious food, and a lively environment makes it a really nice spot to visit!

Absolutely FANTASTIC! Very nice staff, everyone helping out.. No wait to be seated. Got sides right away and meats in timely fashion. Exceptionally clean. Excellent value. 100% delicious. We got the marinated meat combo, fried dumplings, and two cocktails, and our bill was $125. Not bad for such great quality!
